The Story: Our visit to Central Park during our vacation to New York.
Inspiration: I worked this design around the map of Central Park.
A Big Map & Few Photos: The map is huge and I wanted to include the whole thing rather than cut it up. I didn’t have a ton of photos from the park (it rained so we left early), so the design worked nicely!
Earlier: Title Page
Font: Bebas | Tools: Epson Stylus R2000 (photos), Silhouette SD (headline) | Supplies: Neighborhood Stripe by Reminisce (patterned paper) | Ephemera Included: Central Park map.
At first glance, I didn’t realize there was a map until the photo where it was opened. You’re the ephemera scrappin’ queen and can mix it with photos so nice and clean!
Thanks!! I thought twice about including the picture of the map unfolded because it’s blurry. I need to do that more often!
Love this page, Natalie! The map adds so much but the photos still shine on the neutral background. This album sounds fun! I haven’t been to New York in many years but it’s one of my favorite places to travel to (when funds and time allow!) 🙂
This was my very first trip to NY! Prepare yourself for more ultra-touristy stuff!
